Fullmetal alchemist is about Edward(Ed) and his younger brother Alfered (AL). They not only lost their mother in a fire but also lost more trying to bring her back to life. They preformed alchemy; a science that states that humans can not gain anything without giving something in return. That is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange, so followers of this science believed that in order to obtain something, a thing of equal value must be lost. As a result, while performing the enchantment, Ed lost his right arm and his right leg, but Al lost much more. He lost his body but not his soul since Ed was able to put Al’s soul into armor. Ed’s dream is to join the state alchemy to obtain the information he needs to get him and his brother back to the way they were before. However, there are some bumps along the road.
